Έρχονται οι Aerosmith!

Οι τυπικές λεπτομέρειες (προπώληση, τιμές εισιτηρίων) δεν είναι ακόμα γνωστές. Η αλήθεια που προς το παρόν μετρά είναι πως οι Aerosmith όπως γράφει ο ιστότοπός τους, θα έρθουν στην Αθήνα για συναυλία, στις 20 Ιουνίου στο Ολυμπιακό Στάδιο.

Ενάντια στη φημολογία που έλεγε πως ο ανεμικός αλλά και σέξι τραγουδιστής της μπάντας, Steven Tyler, είχε αποχωρίσει από την μπάντα, εκείνος και οι υπόλοιποι Aerosmith θα ξεκινήσουν την ευρωπαϊκή τους περιοδεία από τη Σουηδία στις 10 Ιουνίου. Η «αποψινή» τουρνέ της μπάντας, γνωστής και με τα προσωνύμια «Τα κακά αγόρια της Βοστόνης» και «Η καλύτερη rock ‘n’ roll μπάντα της Αμερικής», έχει τον τίτλο «Cocked, Loaded, Ready to Rock».

Οι Aerosmith έγιναν γκρουπ στη Βοστόνη το 1970. Υπέγραψαν το πρώτο τους συμβόλαιο το 1972. Σήμερα οι συνολικές πωλήσεις τους ξεπερνούν τα 155 εκατομμύρια αντίτυπα.

Τους τελευταίους μήνες είχε αναπτυχθεί έντονη φημολογία για τη σύνθεση του γκρουπ. Κάποιοι μίλησαν και για διάλυσή του. Στις αρχές του περασμένου Νοέμβρη ο ιδρυτής του συγκροτήματος, κιθαρίστας Joe Perry, ανακοίνωσε πως η μπάντα έψαχνε τον τραγουδιστή με το κατάλληλο DNA ν’ αναπληρώσει τον Steven Tyler. Τελικά ο αδύνατος με τα σαρκώδη χείλη Tyler παραμένει στο συγκρότημα. Και αυτό επιβεβαιώθηκε όταν ο ερμήνευσε μαζί με τον Perry τραγούδια των Aerosmith ζωντανά σε κλαμπ της Νέας Υόρκης στα τέλη του ίδιου μήνα.
